The course, in daylight and dark

What does the course actually look like?

Like a landscaped garden you happen to putt through. Every wall in these photos is limestone and rust rock set by hand on site, the water runs through the holes rather than beside them, and the greens follow real elevation instead of sitting flat on a slab. The build shots at the end are from before Sip n Putt opened in January 2023.

Two things the camera keeps missing. The course plays a lot longer than it looks, closer to an hour for most groups. And after sundown the lights change it completely, which is why the Friday and Saturday night rounds fill up.

Sunset over the greens at Sip n Putt. A putting green edged in rust rock under a pink Hill Country sunset.
The full course from above. Elevated view of the rock lined mini golf holes under a deep blue Texas sky.
The dome clubhouse at dusk. The geodesic dome clubhouse glowing at dusk against an orange Texas horizon.
Hole six, the water hole. A blue water channel curving through hole six beside striped white sand.
Hole one. Hole one winding between rust rock borders toward the clubhouse.
The putter counter. Rental counter stocked with color coded putters and golf balls.
Inside the clubhouse. The dome doorway framing the mascot cutout and the putter display.
Rockwork during the build. Terraced limestone and rust rock walls taking shape during construction.
Laying the greens. Crew installing synthetic turf greens beside the clubhouse buildings.
Green detail. A contoured green with white sand pockets beside a limestone block wall.
Shaping the water features. An unfinished putting lane and water feature liner during construction.

Photos are nice. The real thing is better.

Get here about an hour before sunset, play into the lights, and see what the camera keeps missing.
